The Secrets of Jaffa Road

Jaffa Road has been the background on which our history in Jerusalem unfolded over the past 150 years.

That history can be seen today along Jaffa Road if you know where to look. European expansionism, WWI, the Jewish fight for survival and technological advancement are just some of the events that have left calling cards along Jaffa Road.

 

On this tour we will walk down Jaffa Road from the central bus station to Jaffa gate. We will discover many sites we never noticed before or did not know their stories. After this tour the familiar sites of Jaffa Road will take on a whole new significance.
